Preorder code - Guild Wars Forums

hey, i was wondering if someone would be able to answer this for me. I have ordered GW from GameStop and dont know when i will get it. I was told by someone that i would be able to use my Preorder Code for atleast one (1) week after GW is opened and when i get the game i can just change the Code to the retail one and play on. However, I can't seem to find anywhere on the Guildwars.com site anything about this, all I can see is that I will be able to do that for 48 hours. Was what I was told true, will I be able to use my Preorder Code for a week after the server is up, or can I only do that for the 48 hours thing?

Pre-order is just for the 'early access' - after that you'll have to switch it over to a full retail key. Sorry about any confusion in the matter, hope that helps.
